Our new Review Milestones feature turns the reputation you've already earned into fresh Google Business Profile content, automatically.
Getting reviews takes work.
First, you have to deliver a service somebody actually wants to recommend. Then you have to ask for the review. And, if you're doing things properly, you need to keep doing both consistently.
Eventually you reach 50 reviews, then 100. Perhaps 250 Google reviews, maybe 500 across the different platforms you use, or an exceptional ESTAS customer service rating.
They're meaningful achievements.
But unless somebody happens to notice, they often pass completely unnoticed.
We've built something to change that.
A quick confession, from me this time: I've wanted to do this for ages.
We already post real reviews to our Google Business Profile via the automation. What we never had was a way to mark the milestones themselves, whether that's reaching 50 reviews, 250 reviews or another achievement worth celebrating.
That's exactly the kind of thing I've always wanted to shout about. Now it can happen without me having to think about it at all.
Real achievements, finally treated like ones.
Introducing Review Milestones
Review Milestones is a new addition to Estate Apps' Google Business Profile automation.
It monitors an agency's review performance and recognises when an important milestone has been reached.
When that happens, the achievement can automatically become fresh content on the agency's Google Business Profile.
No checking review counts.
No diary reminder for somebody in marketing.
No discovering three months later that you sailed past 250 reviews without noticing.
You keep earning the reputation. We'll help you make more of it.
Because 250 reviews isn't really about the number
This is the important bit.
A milestone isn't valuable because a bigger number looks impressive.
Behind that number are real people.
Customers who chose your agency. Vendors and landlords who trusted you with their property. Buyers and tenants who dealt with your team. People who had enough of an opinion about the experience to publicly share it afterwards.
One individual review tells one of those stories.
Review milestones demonstrate the bigger picture.
Reaching 100, 250 or 500 reviews can demonstrate a track record built across hundreds of customer experiences.
That's worth celebrating.
And it's worth putting somewhere else prospective customers may encounter it.
Putting your reputation to work on Google
Someone searching for an estate agent isn't necessarily going straight from Google to booking a valuation.
They may look at several agencies.
They'll probably visit websites. They may look at properties, browse Google Business Profiles and read reviews before deciding who feels credible enough to contact.
That makes your Google presence another opportunity to reinforce why someone should trust you.
A recent post celebrating 250 Google reviews, 500 reviews across your review platforms or a strong ESTAS customer service rating provides another piece of that picture.
It isn't another "Book a valuation today!" message.
It's evidence.
Your customers have already done the talking. Review Milestones simply helps you make better use of what they've said collectively.
What can Estate Apps recognise?
We've built Milestones to work with the different ways agencies build and measure their reputation.
It can currently recognise:
- Google review totals
- ESTAS review totals
- Facebook review totals
- Kerfuffle review totals [URL]
- Combined review totals across supported sources
- ESTAS customer service rating percentages
Which milestones apply depends on the review platforms already connected to an agency's Estate Apps setup. If ESTAS is integrated, for example, we can recognise those achievements alongside the other supported review sources.
Here's roughly what it looks like in practice. An agency passes 250 Google reviews, and a post like this appears on their profile automatically:
“Milestone reached. We've just reached 250 Google reviews. A huge thank you to everyone who has trusted us and taken the time to share their experience.”
Nobody at the agency had to write it, post it or even remember the milestone was coming.
And it isn't hypothetical. We recently passed 430 five-star Google reviews ourselves. I spotted it and shouted about it. Review Milestones simply makes moments like that much harder to miss.
Milestones can be recurring too.
For example, we could celebrate every additional 50 reviews, recognising 50, 100, 150, 200 and so on as an agency's reputation grows.
Or we can recognise a specific one-off achievement instead.
The important bit is that nobody needs to keep checking for it.
One agency doesn't always mean one review count
We've also accounted for something that's particularly important for multi-branch estate agencies.
An agency might have several offices, each with its own Google Business Profile and its own local reputation.
In that situation, the milestone being celebrated should actually belong to the branch talking about it.
Review Milestones can therefore work agency-wide or at individual branch level.
A single-office independent might celebrate everything together.
A multi-branch agency can allow each office to reach and celebrate its own milestones.
So each branch gets to celebrate its own reputation, in front of its own local Google audience, rather than borrowing a number from somewhere else in the business.
Simple idea. Important detail.
And we won't dig up every milestone you've ever passed
If an agency already has 480 reviews when Milestones is enabled, it doesn't need a flurry of posts announcing 50, 100, 150, 200 and every other number it passed years ago.
Review Milestones recognises where the business is now and avoids flooding Google with stale achievements.
Once a milestone has been celebrated, we remember that too.
From there, the system simply keeps watching for the next one.
Good automation should remove work, not create noise.
This is really about making better use of what you already have
There's a broader reason we've built this.
Estate agents already create huge amounts of valuable digital material simply by running their businesses.
Every new instruction creates property information.
Every completed transaction creates an opportunity for feedback.
Every review contributes to a reputation.
Every branch builds local knowledge.
Traditionally, those things tend to live in separate places.
Your properties sit in your CRM.
Your reviews sit on review platforms.
Your Google Business Profile sits somewhere else.
And someone has always been expected to connect all three manually.
That's the bit we think software should be taking care of.
That's why so much of our development is focused on connecting the different parts of an estate agency's digital presence and finding useful ways to automate what happens between them.
Review Milestones is another example.
Your service earns the review.
Your reviews build the reputation.
Your reputation reaches a milestone.
Estate Apps helps turn that milestone into marketing.
Nobody had to remember to do it.
More mileage from the reputation you've already earned
Review Milestones is now being rolled out through Estate Apps' Google Business Profile automation.
It's a relatively small feature.
But that's partly why we like it.
It takes something agencies are already doing, identifies an opportunity that's easily missed, and takes another little marketing job off someone's plate.
No extra content calendar.
No extra admin.
No new platform for your team to learn.
Just more mileage from a reputation you've already worked bloody hard to earn.
