Kerfuffle Reviews. Now Linked to Estate Apps & GBP

We love our Kerfuffle reviews.

What we didn't love was picturing all that good feedback just sitting there, doing nothing, unless someone happened to go looking for it on Kerfuffle itself.

So we did something about it.

We've now integrated Kerfuffle reviews directly into the Estate Apps platform, allowing them to be displayed on our website and used within our Google Business Profile activity too.

In other words, a review left in one place doesn't have to stay in one place.

And while this particular integration is probably more relevant to Estate Apps and other industry suppliers than it is to the average estate agent, we think it's a pretty good example of what a connected website platform should actually do.

We already had the reviews. We wanted them to do more.

Over the years, Estate Apps has built up a fantastic collection of reviews on Kerfuffle, valuable because they're independent feedback from estate agency businesses that have actually worked with us.

But there was an obvious limitation.

Unless somebody specifically went looking for Estate Apps on Kerfuffle, there was a good chance they'd never see them.

Meanwhile, prospective clients were visiting our website, finding us through Google and researching Estate Apps in all sorts of other places.

The reviews already existed. We just needed to connect the dots.

Kerfuffle → Estate Apps website

The first part of the integration brings Kerfuffle reviews into our website platform. You can see it working on our What Clients Say page, where our website becomes a central home for the feedback we've earned, rather than forcing visitors to go hunting for it elsewhere.

That's particularly useful at the point somebody is already researching Estate Apps, looking at what we build, exploring our services and deciding whether they'd trust us with their website.

Being able to see genuine client experiences as part of that journey adds another layer of reassurance without interrupting it.

But we didn't stop at the website.

Kerfuffle → Google Business Profile

We've also connected Kerfuffle with our Google Business Profile automation.

You can see the result on our own profile.

Kerfuffle feedback can become part of the content we're publishing through Google Business Profile, extending its reach beyond the original review platform.

Think about the journey.

A client leaves Estate Apps a review on Kerfuffle.

That review can appear within our Estate Apps website.

And it can contribute to the content we're publishing through Google Business Profile.

One review. Three useful touchpoints.

No copying and pasting reviews between systems. No spreadsheet reminding somebody what needs publishing next. No perfectly good feedback sitting unnoticed on a third-party profile.

The technology handles the connection.

Why build this when most estate agents don't use Kerfuffle?

Because sometimes the best way to improve our platform is to experience exactly the same frustrations we're trying to remove for our clients.

Kerfuffle is predominantly focused on suppliers to the estate agency industry, so we're not going to pretend this is suddenly the must-have integration for every estate agent in Britain.

It isn't.

But the thinking behind it absolutely is relevant. Estate agents increasingly operate across a collection of different platforms:

Your CRM knows about your properties and customers.

Google Business Profile represents your business in local search.

Review platforms contain some of your strongest social proof.

Your website sits at the centre of your digital presence.

Reviews, awards and online reputation all feed into that same picture of trust - something we've covered in Trust signals: why reviews, awards and online reputation matter more than ever.

The opportunity comes when those systems stop behaving like separate islands.

That's something we're increasingly focused on at Estate Apps.

This isn't our first review connection

We've already taken a similar approach with ESTAS.

Our ESTAS integration helps reviews collected there work beyond the original platform, including through Google Business Profile. We recently covered exactly how that works in Turn Your ESTAS Reviews into Google Visibility.

We've also introduced review milestone functionality, helping businesses make something of the moments that might otherwise quietly pass by, such as reaching another review milestone or achieving a standout rating.

Kerfuffle is another addition to that ecosystem. Different review sources. Different use cases.

The same underlying principle:

If you've already earned the content, your technology should help you get more value from it.

It's a small integration that says something bigger

We could have left our Kerfuffle reviews exactly where they were, doing their job. Instead, we asked whether they could do another job too.

That's quite a good summary of how we approach the Estate Apps platform as a whole.

We're constantly looking at the technology, content and data our clients already have and asking:

Can we connect this? Can we automate this? Can we make this work harder?

Sometimes that results in a major new feature. Sometimes it's a clever little integration like this one. But those connections add up.

Because we don't think a modern estate agency website should simply sit there waiting for somebody to visit it.

It should be an active part of the technology and marketing ecosystem around your business.

Kerfuffle is simply the latest platform we've connected to ours. And yes, this time we get to enjoy the benefits ourselves.

See it working for yourself

This isn't a mock-up or something sitting on our development roadmap - you can see Kerfuffle reviews being put to work right now.

Take a look at our What Clients Say page to see how independent feedback forms part of the Estate Apps website experience.

Then take a look at our Google Business Profile to see how we're putting that feedback to work there too.

One review platform. More places for that reputation to be seen. And another useful integration added to the Estate Apps platform.
